About Private Maui Surf Lessons

You will receive personalized instructions catered to your needs to help you reach your surfing goals. From the basics of learning how to paddle, to the progression of catching waves, your lesson will also provide you with the knowledge to read waves and currents on your own. You will have a guide who is talented in and out of the water. All of our guides are required to have basic to big wave surfing backgrounds as well as American Red Cross CPR and First Aid certifications.

We offer a 6am (dawn patrol special), 8am and 10am surf lesson. We are the first company to offer a 6am lesson.

All lessons come with complimentary photos taken during the lesson.

What to Bring

We provide boards, rash guards and water but please wear your own rash guard if you’d like. We recommend bringing reef safe sunscreen, a towel, change of dry clothes for after, and an open mind to learn about the ocean and how to surf.
