Ride the DPV's from Shore and Visit a Shipwreck and Artificial "Rubber Reef"! Film your "Mission"

Depth: 25-70’
Time:45-65 mins.
Water Temp: 73-83 Degrees.

This scooter dive is offered to experienced, slow-breathing certified divers only.
Divers must be 12 years of age and up.**

TOUR INFORMATION

Meet at Keawakapu Beach, sign waiver, set up gear and attend Briefing.
Don equipment and ride scooter for 12 minutes thru a near shore reef, across the sea grass, to the tires.
Often called “Rubber Reef”, the wreck and tires were sunk on purpose for divers.

This site is loaded with schooling Goatfish, Seargent Majors, Milletseed Butterflies, Trumpets, cornets, Puffers, stop me now, the list never ends.
The treasured fish is the Commerson’s Frogfish, keep a sharp eye out!

We provide all the equipment: Scooter, Mask, BCD, Weights, Fins, and Wetsuit.

Safe, Easy, and Very Rewarding!

Guides bring an underwater camera and capture all the action with photos and video clips, Art Prints, or Custom Movie Slideshows, available afterwards.

What to bring

-Dive Certification Card

  • Bathing suit
  • Hair Ties for long hair (or go for the Mer-maid/man Look!)
    -Reef Safe Sun Screen ONLY Please! We are underwater and sunscreen on your face gets in your eyes!
  • Big Smile, ready to meet new friends and share a great Maui experience!

Note: Please leave Valuables back in hotel somewhere safe.

Attention: A medical history questionnaire and waiver is required prior to diving, top issues are Heart medications/issues, medications, active asthma,and back injury/surgery. Participants cannot drive or fly to an elevation above 1000’ for a minimum of 12 hours after breathing compressed air on a dive.
