The Matanuska Glacier is an excellent location to experience the vertical world of ice climbing. After walking over glacial moraine for about an hour to get to amazing climbing walls, we start out teaching you the basics on moderate slopes and by the end of the day, you'll be scaling vertical walls of ice! Our step-by-step training helps you have a great time on the ice, even if you don't have any climbing or ice trekking experience.

With professional instruction, and only a two hour journey from Anchorage makes this an unparalleled glacier adventure.

Mountaineering boots are provided. We have sizes from Men's 4 to 14, please advise us in advance if you need a size at the large or small end of this range.
