FAQs
Q: Do Museum Admission tickets sell out?
A: No. Unlike the train ride, there is no real limit to the number of Museum Admission tickets that are available. You can easily purchase a Museum Admission ticket upon arrival. Online booking is made available as a convenience, not a requirement.
Q: Where do I check in?
A: Please check in at the museum depot. There you'll receive from the ticket agent your tickets and a "Tour of the Yards" self-guided tour pamphlet
Q: I don't remember this option before. Is this new?
A: Yes. Traditionally all tickets offered were for train rides and the museum admission was included, but we're now trying to add greater flexibility for guests who may not want to take the time for an hour-long train ride but still wish to explore the museum exhibits.
Q: Do children ages 0-2 need tickets?
A: Children 0-2 years old do not need a ticket for Museum admission only; however, if taking a train ride, all 0-2 year olds must have an Infant train ride ticket
Cancellations
Unused museum admission reservations may be canceled for a full cash refund, moved to another day, or converted to a gift card. The request must be received by the time of the final train departure on the day the ticket is valid.
