Everyone is welcome to play barefoot bowls at Mount Gravatt Bowls Club, and you do not have to be a member to join in the fun.

We can cater for a single group of 4 up to 100 players.

Our two greens are competition standard;

The Terrace Green has a sunshade in the day and floodlights at night.

The Arena Green is one of Brisbane's only all-weather bowl greens and guarantees you can play in comfort no matter the weather, so you can confidently book your Barefoot Bowls game or event.

Whether celebrating a birthday, a night out with friends or a work function, you can enjoy delicious platters and a selection of finger food. Drinks are available from the club bar, including 14 craft beers on tap.

Located in the heart of Upper Mt Gravatt, with a large off-street car park, Mt Gravatt Bowls Club has the best barefoot bowls facilities in Brisbane.

Bowls will be provided at no additional cost.

New players will receive ‘How to Play’ advice from our friendly staff.

Children aged 10 to 13 can play bowls. Normal fees apply to teens 14 and over.

Greenside seating and tables are provided. Please enjoy your food and drinks off the playing surface, and we would ask you not to sit on the bank at the side of the green.

What to bring

All players should be barefoot or wear even flat soles such as sneakers, trainers, and thongs. No heels or hard surface footwear such as boots should be worn while playing. (Players will be required to pay for any damage to the green surface.)
