Orange River • Manatee Season Paddle Tours
For all ages! • 2 Hours
Orange River in Fort Myers is one of the best destinations for seeing manatees in Southwest Florida!
Duration
2 Hours
About
Throughout the cooler months, hundreds of manatees will flock here because of the warm water discharges from the local power plant at Manatee Park. Due to this and its "Old Florida" feel, the Orange River is a true local treasure that many miss out on. Depending on weather conditions, this tour includes a beginner - intermediate paddle upstream with an easy paddle back to the launch site at Manatee Park. Located roughly 15 minutes from Downtown Fort Myers and roughly a 30-minute drive from Fort Myers Beach.
