Our Historic Downtown and Capitol Segway Tour is offered once daily at 9am. This Segway tour is approximately 2 hours in length including training.

Your tour begins at the crown jewel of Austin – the Texas State Capitol Building. The capitol campus is huge and takes up close to 9 city blocks. After gliding around the capitol and government district, your tour makes its way down Congress Ave. Your Segway tour-guide will point out some local places of interest such as the Paramount Theatre. Next, your Segway tour takes you to the live music district and world famous 6th street, while at the same time, you’ll learn about the beautiful but haunted Driskill hotel. Other sites visited include the Austin Convention Center, the trendy warehouse district, and then window shopping thru the new and up-and-coming 2nd street district. Your Austin Segway Tour continues to scenic Lady Bird lake, where you are treated to spectacular views of our Austin skyline from Auditorium Shores. Moving on, we zoom across the Lamar Street foot bridge and venture through the new Seaholm district as we explore some of West Austin. To complete your Austin Segway tour, your tour-guide will lead you to the Texas governor’s mansion and end with some great photo opportunities of our beautiful Capitol building.
