What's included
• Sail around the coast of Fajardo to the islands and cays nearby with the most favorable conditions for a calm anchorage. Destination selected according to the weather conditions on your tour date.
• Professional One-on-One, Hands-on lessons with a USCG captain on the basics of sailing, sail trimming, helm steering, water safety, weather interpretation and GPS navigation.
• If you know the Basics, you will have the opportunity to review and build on the skills you wish to develop.
• Briefing on safety.
• Planning assistance—to create a unique experience.
• Food: Charcuterie Board with assorted cold cuts & cheeses, a fresh fruits platter, assorted dips like spicy crab or chicken salad, guava dip or hummus with tortilla and root veggie chips.
• Beverages: Open Bar (beer, rum, vodka, whiskey, tequila), sparkling wine or white wine, mixers, water, assorted soft drinks & juices.
• Food allergies or dietary requirements can be accommodated if notified in advance. Food & Beverages preferences are taken into consideration when organizing your tour.
• Use of Snorkelling equipment.
• Use of Paddle Boards & Floaties.

Itinerary
After a warm welcome and a short briefing on sailing, we'll set sail, to the coast of Fajardo, looking for the most favorable winds to practice differents angles of sailing.
Although you can decide how much sailing time we have, the average sailing distance to the islands nearby is around one hour and a half (1.30 hrs). Leaving you with around three (3) hours of anchorage time for swimming, snorkeling or lounging.
The nearby islands we can visit include Palomino, Lobos or Icacos (Culebra or Vieques not included).

Check-in details
• We encourage you to arrive at least 20-25 minutes prior to your departure time to avoid any rush and enjoy all your adventure hours.
• Instructions on how to enter the marina and meet with the Navego Crew will be provided in the morning of your tour date.
• The marina offers free parking and a Drop Off Area, if you are using a rideshare.

• Reef-friendly Sunscreen (no aerosol or oils)
• Comfy shoes or sandals
• Bathing suits
• Motion sickness medication (we recommend you to follow medication instructions)
• Avoid jeans and heavy clothing
• Comfy & light clothes
• A change of dry clothing for after the tour
• Tumbler and reusable water bottles (optional)

Once your booking is completed Captain Angie will contact you to start coordinating all your tour details, make sure to use this opportunity to provide all necessary information to make the best of your time at sea.
Restrictions
• Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
• Not recommended for travelers with back problems
• Not recommended for pregnant travelers
• Not recommended for infant or toddlers (age 6 and up)
• Not recommended to guests with heart problems or other serious medical conditions
• Not wheelchair accessible
• Service animals allowed but not recommended due to high stress levels produced during the movement of the boat
Disclaimers
• This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
• This is a private tour/activity. Only your group will participate.

Are you certified by the USCG? Do you have Safety Equipment?
- Yes. Our Captains are US Coast Guard licensed, we use all US Coast Guard Approved equipment and follow all safety measurements established by federal law.
Are you ASA or US Sailing Certified?
- We aren’t affiliated with ASA or US Sailing, so we don’t offer formal certifications. However, our lessons provide all the hands-on knowledge and sea time you’d get in a certified course—and more! Because we’re not limited to specific textbooks or structured programs, we can tailor each session to your skill level, goals, and interests. Our experienced crew will help you build real-world sailing skills, giving you the confidence to navigate the water on your own.
Does the price include gratuity or taxes?
- No, Gratuity is not included on the tour price. If you are satisfied with your experience and wish to leave a gratuity for your captain and crew, you can give it directly to them. You can also use your credit card, just let our team know. No, we do not charge tax.
What are your boarding times, and are they flexible?
- Standard boarding time is at 10:00 AM departure and 4:00 PM return to the marina for the Day Sails. These times are flexible if coordinated in advance when you book your reservation. All information will be confirmed once booking is complete.
Is smoking cigarettes or cannabis allowed? We have a strict NO DRUGS policy.
- Smoking cigarettes, cannabis or throwing cigarette tips in the ocean is not allowed. We have a very strict NO DRUGS ALLOWED ON BOARD POLICY, therefore no drugs of any kind will be tolerated aboard our vessels. Although cannabis is legal at a medicinal level in Puerto Rico, is still a Schedule I controlled substance on the federal level, making it illegal to have aboard a vessel. The Vessel, Crew & Passengers are subject to US Coast Guard regulations and must abide by federal law.

Cancellations
Bookings must be cancelled within 24 hours of tour date to receive a full refund or credit. Bookings cancelled within 23 to 12 hours of tour date will receive a 50% refund or credit. Bookings cancelled within 11 hours of tour date and “no-shows” will not be refundable.
