Behind the Barriers: An Insider’s View of the Clark County Museum II
For All Ages • 1.5 hours • Educational Program
Overview
Activity details
Here’s another chance to go behind the scenes at the Clark County Museum. If you missed it last year or you are coming back for more, you'll be in for a treat either way. This time we’re venturing into staff only areas of even more historic buildings, visiting our new storage area, and taking in an exhibit brimming with vintage Vegas swizzle sticks, matchbooks, ashtrays, and more.
So, what’s inside storage that is seldom seen? Just how many matchbooks and ashtrays can we squeeze into one exhibit? Join us on May 2nd or 3rd and find out. It promises to be more of a buzz than a shot of whiskey and an unfiltered Lucky Strike. (No food, drink, or cigarettes will be provided or permitted but we encourage you to attend one of the Home+History parties if you are able.)
Please note that this is a walking tour that is partially outdoors and includes uneven terrain.
