About

Our first stop is 40 min drive north through open woodland savanna, vast floodplains, then getting into the escarpment country. Here we will walk through aboriginal rock art interpreted by your guide. There is a bit of time spent here explaining the 2000+ year old Rockart.
Once on top of the escarpment, which is a moderated climb to the top, you experience some of Kakadu's greatest views,

This is a must-see place that has made our guides feel the love of nature and understand the culture of this area.

Iced water and snacks are supplied.

We will then go in search for that big croc, (a short 5 min drive) on the river that separates Arnhemland and Kakadu. Here you can get some great ‘Snappy Snappy’ shots. More n more crocs move into this area towards the end of the dry season (July-Oct)

Then another 5 min drive we go for another walk through spectacular Sandstone outcrops, caves and past a small billabong along the edge of the East Alligator River. If not open we will head to another Billabong, themed with birdlife.

What to Bring, Kakadu Park Pass (Not Included - please purchase online)
let us know if any dietary requirements needed, hat, sunscreen, min 1 liter drink bottle, a camera and a smile. We recommend loose clothing and shoes.

Please note that due to circumstances beyond our control, we may not have access to this location for cultural reasons or seasonal closures.

Your tour price does not include a Kakadu Park Pass and you are required to purchase this for yourself prior to the tour. The pass must reflect the dates you are travelling whilst in Kakadu and rangers may ask to see this at random locations.

Passes can be purchased online, https://book.parksaustralia.gov.au/passes/kakadu/. Pass prices are adjusted according to the season you travel, so please check the website for details.
