Arrival:

• Meeting Location: 8385 Manatee Avenue West, Bradenton. We are situated directly across from the easily recognizable carousel seahorses. Klaus, or another member of our team will meet you, check your documentation, fit your life vest, and go over all safety information with you. It is THE ted talk for jet ski safety on the water - you won't want to miss!

• 30 minutes before your scheduled rental time. This allows us to complete the necessary paperwork and safety briefing.

Required Documents Check:
We will check that you have all documents so do not forget to bring them! Any insufficient or missing documents will result in a cancelation with no refunds

• Jet Ski Rental Agreement (completed previously & submitted electronically)
• Signed Liability Waiver (completed previously & submitted electronically). We do have paper copies available.
• Valid Government-Issued Driver's License
• Credit Card Used for Booking
• Florida Boater Safety Education ID (if born on or after January 1, 1988).

License and Identification Requirements (No Exceptions):

• All Operators: Must present a valid government-issued driver's license and the matching credit card used to make the reservation.
• Born Before January 1, 1988: Valid Government issued Driver's license and matching credit card are required
• Born After January 1, 1988: Valid Government issued Driver's license, matching credit card, and a valid Florida Boater Safety Education ID card are required.

Recommended items to bring:

• Sun Protection
• Lip Balm with SPF
• UV-Protective Clothing: Consider long-sleeved rash guards or swim shirts
• Eye Protection, Sunglasses with UV Protection
• Towel: For drying off after your ride
• We sell Waterproof Phone Cases to protect electronics, just ask ahead
• Water: Stay hydrated, especially in the Florida sun.

Jet Ski Rental Requirements:

Age Requirements:

• Renters: Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Operators: Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Minors: All minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Experience Requirements:

• All renters and operators must have a minimum of 2 years of jet ski and/or boating experience.

License and Identification Requirements:

• All Operators: Must present a valid government-issued driver's license and the credit card used to make the reservation.
• Born Before January 1, 1988: Driver's license and credit card are required.
• Born On or After January 1, 1988: Driver's license, credit card, and a valid Florida Boater Safety Education ID card are required.

Safety and Legal Requirements:

• All jet ski operators, renters, and passengers must complete and sign a release of liability waiver.
• Florida law requires that all individuals wear a provided U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket at all times while the jet ski is underway.

Reservation and Documentation:

• Upon completion of your reservation, you will receive an email confirmation from Off the Hook Boating containing two links:
  Jet Ski Rental Agreement: This document outlines the terms and conditions of your rental and must be completed by the reservation holder and the jet ski operator prior to your rental date.
  Liability Waivers: All passengers must complete and sign a liability waiver before boarding the jet ski.

We strongly encourage you to complete these documents in advance to maximize your time on the water and avoid delays on the day of your rental.
