Discover some of the fascinating key objects in the museum’s collection during a tour with members of the Education Team.

Students will learn about the history of The Old Police Cells and the development of policing.

The tours are designed to support areas of the curriculum such as Crime and Punishment, Local History and Technology. They could also be of interest to sociology students and younger children learning about people who help us.

We hope our tour will prompt class discussions about policing, the causes of crime and how the criminal justice system has changed over time.
