Get on board for Some Overnight Fun!
For the full offshore experience, we offer a 60-hour Tuna-specific trip in the Fall and Winter months (SEPTEMBER thru March).
Spend 2 nights offshore fishing the deep-water rigs in the Gulf of Mexico. Targeting Yellowfin and Blackfin Tuna under the lights using live or dead baits, artificial flying fish, jigs, and surface poppers.
Other species targeted while either drifting at the deep-water rigs or trolling in the blue water include Rainbow runner, Dorado, Bigeye Tuna, Wahoo, Barracuda, Mako Shark and other shark species. Even the occasional Blue Marlin is not uncommon on this trip.
What's included
All bait will be provided. Trolling tackle will be provided. PLEASE LET TUNA MASTERS KNOW IF YOU NEED TACKLE PRIOR TO TRIP Feel free to bring your personal trolling lure choices. As far as chunking (ie: using bait) and jigging, boat gear can be provided but we strongly recommend that you bring your own rods for that, as well as your own selection of jigs ….Due to the nature of the trip PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN COOLERS WITH FOOD DRINKS, AND BEDDING <FOR YOUR AWSOME OFFSHORE ADVENTURE ..
Cancellations
If you need to cancel your trip, we offer a full refund or can change a reservation to another time if made with Port Aransas Fisherman’s Wharf at least 24 hours prior to sailing of the trip (72 hours for long range trips of 24 hours or longer). Any changes, cancelations, or any reason for not being able to make the trip after this cut off time the trip is non-refundable. Any no-shows or late arrivals are also considered non-refundable. We do our best to show everyone a great day on the water so cannot hold the boat for those who are late and take away from those who are prompt’s time fishing.
The Wharf Cat and Scat Cat are very large and stable fishing vessels, and safety is of the utmost importance. This being said, we will go fishing in the rain and wind when we can. We want to do our best to ensure a great day of fishing and maximize your enjoyment on the trip. If Port Aransas Fisherman’s Wharf or one of its captains cancel the trip for any reason such as weather, mechanical, or for any other reason, you will be notified by email and or Text as soon as possible and offered a full refund or to change your trip time to another available time.
We are a family-oriented business and run all trips as such. No illegal drugs are allowed on board the boat and they will not be tolerated. The United States Coast Guard and Texas Parks and wildlife do not take the drug laws of the United States lightly and neither do we. We also reserve the right to refuse boarding to anyone who we consider to be drunk or under the influence of drugs.
