This hike explores the history of Confluence Park, the river bottom between LaVerkin and Hurricane. Hikers will traipse through volcanic rock, view and hear the history of an old hydroelectric plant, see an old turkey granary as well as an Ancestral Puebloan cave dwelling. Even though the hike is between two cities, hikers feel like they are in another world.

What to bring

All hikers should wear appropriate hiking shoes, carry enough water and be in reasonably good physical condition.
