Cruise to Tyniec
For all ages! • 5 hours • A cruise to Tyniec combined with a visit to the Benedictine Abbey!
Duration: 5 hours
A cruise across the Vistula is a unique opportunity to see Krakow from a completely different, less known perspective. Straight from the Dębnicki Bridge, we will go towards Wawel to see how many details are missed during the traditional tour of the hill.
The elevation proudly stretches the chest towards the river, and thus allows you to look at yourself with a fresh eye. Then we will take a closer look at the Dębicki Bridge, a memento from the post-war times, and at the same time a precursor of convenient rail and road crossings. During the cruise across the Vistula towards Tyniec, it is impossible to pass by the Abbey of the Norbetan Sisters indifferently.
This monumental complex of buildings, known to tourists mainly from the perspective of the city, will show its less popular, but charming face: more delicate, because it is diversified by coastal greenery. The next point will be the Kosciuszko Mound, clearly visible from afar, on top of which earth from the most important battlefields, including Racławice and Maciejowice. This place is especially important for every lover of Polish history; seen from the ship becomes even more special.
