Kayaking Ecotours From Marineland
Experience the best eco-educational kayaking tours in Northeast Florida, made possible by our partnership with Marineland Dolphin Adventure and the University of Florida’s Whitney Lab for Marine Bioscience. This partnership gives us unique access to the southern boundary of the Guana Tolomato Matanzas National Estuarine Research Reserve, which is comprised of over 76,000 acres of protected coastal lands, the perfect location for kayaking tours.
All of our tours are guided by our certified Florida Master Naturalists who will educate you about our local estuary system and its inhabitants. Trips are 2.5 hours long, giving plenty of time to explore this pristine area!
About The Kayak Marineland Tour
Don’t miss this opportunity to visit the Atlantic bottlenose dolphins’ natural habitat in the Matanzas River Estuary, then get up close with these amazing mammals at Marineland Dolphin Adventure! You will fall in love with this biologically rich area, just a short drive away from the hustle and bustle of St. Augustine.
Join our master naturalist guides for a morning or afternoon kayak trip and get an intimate glimpse at a pristine estuary. Paddle in and out of mangrove tidal creeks as birds fly overhead and fish jump in front of your kayak. Observe native flora and fauna in their local habitats and learn why biodiversity is important for the health of our waterways and coastlines.
All levels of kayaking experience will find enjoyment in this ecotour and beginners are invited for their first kayaking adventure. This tour is suitable for ages 6 and up.
Reservations Required!
There is a 4 person minimum on all tours, unless it's a private tour. If the trip minimum is not met, we may need to reschedule or cancel the trip.
