Discover award-winning food and drink, hidden gems, and the stories behind them on this small-group tour through rural Ontario.
This tour takes you on a scenic drive through the stunning vistas of the world’s largest Greenbelt, the rolling hills of the Niagara Escarpment, farmland, small towns and historic hamlets.
We’ll visit a sustainable lavender farm where you’ll learn about the different types of lavender and how they are used, relax by the fields, enjoy a fragrant cup of lavender tea or tour the lavender boutique filled with award-winning clean beauty products and all things lavender! (Please note that peak lavender bloom is July-August).
From here, we’ll drive and delve into the history of the regions small towns and hamlets as we head for lunch at a historic local inn. Enjoy a delicious two-course prix-fixe lunch (lunch option can be selected at purchase) or dine a la carte.
The day wraps up with a beer tasting flight at a craft rural brewery surrounded by rolling fields and warm country hospitality! (Brewery may be substituted with another wonderful local beverage producer based on season and availability)
This tour can be booked as a private tour. Additional stops can be arranged. Private tours include one custom pickup at a predetermined location. Please contact us for information on booking your group.

Pass by - The Cheltenham Badlands
Stop 1 - Hereward Farms
Walk the stunning lavenders field, filled with more than 6,000 French and Culinary lavender plants, and beautiful photo opportunities. Visit the Lavender Boutique and Lounge to shop award-winning beauty products as you enjoy a cup of lavender tea or the not-to-be missed lavender lemonade. (Lavender bloom is late June to late August; Sunflower bloom is late July to late August; blooms are dependent on weather and season)

Stop 2 – Mono Cliffs Inn
Lunch at Mono Cliffs Inn - Enjoy a two-course prix-fixe lunch with non-alcoholic beverage or dine a la carte at this hidden culinary gem. Sourcing only the freshest local ingredients from nearby farmers and producers. Each meal is crafted with care from scratch. (Two-course lunch optional add-on).

Stop 3 – Rural Craft Brewery
Enjoy a refreshing beer flight, relax in the beer garden or challenge someone to fun game of cornhole at this rural brewery nestled in the hills Dufferin County. (Brewery may be substituted with another wonderful beverage produced based on season and availability)

10:10 AM pickup from Hurontario/401 Commuter Lot, Mississauga, ON L5W 0H8
During this tour we will be visiting shops located on working farms. You may be in close proximity to domestic and farm animals.
We require at least 6 guests to run our Public Tours. If the tour is unable to run for any reason including poor weather/road conditions, you will be notified as early as possible prior to the booking and receive a refund or be offered a new tour date.

- Weather appropriate clothing
Dress for the weather! Some of this experience takes place outdoors. Please dress accordingly as the tour will take place rain, shine or snow.

Cancellations
- Customers will receive a full refund or credit with 48 hours notice of cancellation. Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to extreme weather or other unforeseen circumstances such as insufficient numbers to operate the tour. We will offer an alternative tour, and should you find that not sufficient we will provide a full refund.
- Customers that cancel within 24 hours will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee based on the cost of the tour booked. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation.
- No-shows will be charged the full tour cost.
