Taste your way through maple tradition with a fully guided Sugar Bush experience led by a certified Maple Syrup Grader and Judge! You’ll visit a working sugar shack, taste raw sap (weather dependent), have traditional maple taffy over snow and enjoy a delicious pancake breakfast with all the fixings.
You’ll also taste award-winning Maple Syrup grades and learn how maple syrup is made, from its Indigenous origins to present day, during a tour of the Maple Syrup Museum of Ontario.
From tapping trees to tapping kegs – this tour caps-off at a nearby sustainable farmstead brewery where you’ll warm up by the fire with a tasting flight and maple syrup infused snacks.

Stop 1: Get your Maple on at a traditional family-run sugar bush. We’ll visit Elliott Tree Farm for a morning all things maple syrup with a fully guided tour and opportunities to meet the producers of Canada’s sweetest export!
Stop 2: Warm-up fireside and enjoy a guided tasting flight at Goodlot Farmstead Brewing Co., a sustainable rural brewery located in the heart of Caledon, Ontario.

A truly Canadian experience, the Taste of Maple tour will immerse you in a treasured part of this country's winter traditions. On this tour you'll see how small-batch maple syrup is made using the same method they did on the farm 200 hundred years ago.
During this tour you'll have VIP opportunities to meet and speak with the farmers and owners of the sugar bush and farmstead brewery for an unforgettable day of rural culture and hospitality.

Dress for the Weather
Be prepared for a Canadian winter experience. You should plan to wear:
- Winter boots, not shoes (there might not be snow in the City, but there will likely be snow on the tour)
- Winter coat
- Toque (aka winter hat or beanie)
- Warm mittens or gloves
- Scarf
- Warm socks

Please note this tour includes a hike to a sugar bush on potentially snow-covered trails.
This tour may not be suitable for individuals with mobility challenges or those who require mobility devices.

During this tour we will be visiting working farms. Guests may be in close proximity to domestic and farm animals.
We require at least 6 guests to run our Public Tours. If the tour is unable to take place for any reason, including poor weather conditions, you will be notified as early as possible prior to the booking and receive a refund or be offered a new tour date.

Cancellations
- Customers will receive a full refund or credit with 48 hours notice of cancellation. Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to extreme weather or other unforeseen circumstances such as insufficient numbers to operate the tour. We will offer an alternative tour, and should you find that not sufficient we will provide a full refund.
- Customers that cancel within 24 hours will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee based on the cost of the tour booked. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation.
- No-shows will be charged the full tour cost.

We require at least 6 guests to run our Public Tours. If the tour is unable to run for this or any other reason, including extreme weather or unsafe road conditions, you will be notified as far in advance as possible and receive a refund or be offered a new tour date.
