The Friendship Sloop LINDA departs out of Northeast Harbor and if the wind is fair you could make your way up into Somes Sound, the only natural fjard in North America. Continue past Greening Island and the lighthouse on Bear Island. Visit a huge Osprey nest on Sutton Island and continue on to East Bunker Ledge to see seals sunning themselves on the rocks. Take a turn at the wheel or just sit back, relax and enjoy the most beautiful scenery in North America. Available as a private or shared charter. Note: sailing route depends on wind and tide.

May we bring along food and/or alcoholic beverages?

Yes, you may bring along a picnic or takeout with beer or wine.

What do I wear?

Dress as you would for walking around town then bring an extra sweater/sweatshirt and a windbreaker with you. Also useful is a baseball type cap with visor, sunglasses (polarized are best) and sunscreen. Don't forget your camera. If you're "on the fence" about shorts versus long pants… go with the long pants.
