You won’t find a more perfect summer day in Montana than paddling Flathead Lake and exploring Wild Horse Island!

From the shore at Dayton, our guides will lead you on a 2 mile paddle across Flathead Lake (approximately one hour). From there, our guides will lead you on a 2 mile paddle across Flathead Lake (approximately one hour). Enjoy a hike and picnic lunch on the island, which is a state park and nature preserve. Spot big horn sheep, mule deer, bald eagles, and of course, a herd of wild horses.

This tour starts in Dayton, Montana. Please DO NOT arrive at any other Sea Me Paddle Rental Locations.

Our tours are family-friendly. We recommend ages 10 and up for this tour. For under 10 please call to book. We customize our tours for all fitness levels.

What We Provide

• Kayak, paddle and safety gear (single and double kayaks available)
• Lunch
• Small backpack

What to Bring

• Footware: something you don’t mind getting wet (water shoes or sandals) AND something you can hike in (boots or shoes)
• Clothing: Bathing suit, quick-dry fabrics, etc. Please do NOT wear jeans or cotton clothing
• Sun Gear: Sunglasses, sunscreen, and a hat, water bottle
