• Ever dream of being a captain of your own boat? Let us help you make that dream come true. We provide you with instruction on the proper use of the vessel. Maps of the area, all safety gear, and fuel are included with your rental.

• Our pontoon boat rentals are maintained and cleaned daily without rental signs posted all over the sides. We believe that when you rent from us, the boat is yours for the day, so bring your flags from your school or pro team and fly them from your pontoon boat while you’re on the water. There’s plenty of stowage aboard as well so bring your coolers, floats and snorkel gear! We’ll even make room for the family pet!

What to Know:

Do I need previous boating experience to operate a pontoon?

• Not at all. Our pontoons are easy to operate and safe. We’ll give you a quick rundown of all of the USCG safety equipment on board as well as a map of the area and some secret insider tips on the best locations. If you can tell forward from reverse, you’ll do just fine driving a pontoon. The kids will love helping, too!

How many people can your pontoon boats hold?

• Bring the whole gang! Our party pontoon boats can hold up to 14 people which makes them a great way for your entire group to spend the day together. If you have more than 14 people, consider getting two boats. Our pontoon boats are a great value!

• The vessel will be full of fuel, ready to go upon your arrival!
• Bluetooth Radio.
• All safety equipment is provided.
• A Sea Rocket team member will provide a run down of all boating & safety operations before your departure!

• Drinks (including beer & wine) & snacks are available to purchase at the marina ship store.

• The team at Sea Rocket Delaware Beaches looks forward to seeing you! Public parking is available right at Dewey Beach Yacht Club. If you have purchased tickets online or over the phone, please check in at the marina dock office upon arrival. Look for our Sea Rocket “A-frames”! Please arrive AT LEAST 25 minutes before your trip!

Boater's license requirement!!!! Persons born on or after January 1, 1978 must successfully complete a boating safety course before operating a motorized boat, including personal watercraft, on Delaware waters. Here are 4 different state approved courses you can choose from to complete! The Boat US option is free! Please know that this course could take up to 3-4 hours to complete!

If you plan to fish during your outing, be sure to obtain the proper fishing license from the state. A Delaware recreational fishing license covers recreational fishing, crabbing and clamming in all Delaware waters. Licenses must be purchased annually by recreational anglers. In addition to the license, recreational anglers who purchase an individual fishing license or resident boat fishing license will automatically be issued a Delaware Fisherman Information Network (FIN) number. Delaware fishing licenses can be purchased online via Digital DNREC or in-person at an authorized license agent.
