About

Like they say, “the early bird gets the worm”! This kayak tour is a great way to see the Everglades awaken. We will launch our kayaks at sunrise and paddle on an inland river, looking for wading birds, turtles, alligators, lots of plant varieties, and much more! We will paddle through mangrove tunnels teeming with tropical air plants while your certified Florida Master Naturalist guide talks about the surrounding ecosystem and history of this amazing area. On many mornings, we will see fog rolling off of the water as we paddle. This trip is great for photography, birding, and seeing the Everglades in a new light. This is the “real Everglades” trip many people imagine when they picture the Everglades. Don’t worry if you can’t make the sunrise trip. We also offer this trip later in the morning, in the afternoon, or at sunset.
