About
Shuttle from El Nogal Trailhead to Garcia Park for an abbreviated 13 miles of (mostly) downhill South Boundary Trail goodness.
Garcia Park is approximately 2/3 of the way down the South Boundary Trail and skips the first climb to Osha Pass.
To add those miles back, some folks do an out-and-back on the appropriately named "Heaven on Earth" section east of Garcia Park before heading down the trail to Taos.
Please Note
- If there is only 1 person booked on a given shuttle we will contact you before charging an additional Solo Rider fee of $25.
- E-bikes are not allowed on the South Boundary Trail per Forest Service regulation.
- Price does not include any tip you may wish to leave with your driver.
What to Bring:
The South Boundary trail is remote, and no services are available. You should be self-sufficient if something goes wrong. At the bare minimum we recommend you bring:
- Bike (Rentals available in Taos)
- Helmet
- Rain Jacket (afternoon thunderstorms are frequent)
- Water
- Spare tube / repair kit
- Bike pump
- Phone with MTBProject or TrailForks downloaded for use offline (service is spotty at best).
