Nazaré is a Meca for adventurous surfers all around the world. This is the place where world record for the biggest wave ever surfed was set- more than once. We will take to the “temple of surf” which is now the old and iconic Fort of São Miguel Arcanjo.

We will also visit the centuries old Sanctuary of Nazaré and the Memory Chapel, where you will be able to have a breathtaking view of Nazaré and a great deal of the Silver Coast shore (all the way to the Berlengas Islands).

Last but for sure not least, you will also get to know downtown Nazaré itself, a one-of-a-kind traditional historical fishing village, with its narrow alleys facing the sea, and its ancient traditions like the “Dry Fish”, “Arte Xávega” or the famous seven skirts that local women still wear.
