What to bring
You'll want to wear layers for a ski or snowboard lesson to stay warm, dry, and comfortable. Here's what to wear:
-Base Layer (Moisture-Wicking)
Thermal top and bottom (synthetic or wool, NOT cotton)
-Ski socks (thin, moisture-wicking, and knee-high)
-Mid Layer (Insulating)
Fleece or down jacket
Insulated ski pants or warm athletic pants under ski pants
-Outer Layer (Waterproof & Windproof)
Waterproof ski jacket
-Waterproof ski pants (not jeans or sweatpants)
Accessories
-Ski gloves or mittens (waterproof & insulated)
-Neck gaiter or buff (optional but great for wind protection)
Helmet (rentals are available) We strongly suggest wearing one!
Ski goggles (protects from wind, snow, and glare)
Optional Extras
Beanie (if not wearing a helmet - but, you should wear a helmet)
Hand & toe warmers (for extra cold days)
Sunscreen & lip balm (snow reflects sunlight, increasing exposure)
Dressing in layers helps you regulate temperature as needed.
