Our Balloons accommodate 2 to 10 Passengers depending on the balloon.
Is it always flyable? We wish!
Ballooning is very weather dependent meaning we only fly when the conditions are perfect for flight. If Mother Nature doesn't allow it and we are forced to delay or cancel your flight it is only with your safety and enjoyment in mind. We have a 100% safety record and if in the opinion of the Pilot's weather conditions are not suitable for safe operations, we will cancel the flight. The hot air balloon flight you get to experience is the one worth waiting for.
The Snohomish area being positioned between the Puget Sound and the Cascades provides for weather that can change suddenly and at the last minute. If you live more than an hour's drive from Snohomish, please understand we might not be able to predict the flight conditions far enough in advance of your drive to Snohomish.
In a nutshell we're looking for weather conditions giving us clear skies with good visibility, no precipitation in the surrounding area and light predictable winds. Sometimes it feels and looks perfect on the ground but wind layers above are too fast, going the wrong direction or are unstable to fly. It's just part of the magic of ballooning.
We want every opportunity to get you in the air. We also want you to have full knowledge that not every day is a good day to fly. It might take some patience and a few re-bookings before you get to experience the thrill of a hot air balloon ride over Snohomish. If your flight is in celebration of a birthday, anniversary or some other special occasion, we recommend considering a back update if the weather does not cooperate on your scheduled day.
