Ultimate Kids Day on the Lake with Captain

All Ages • 4 hours • Up to 6 Passengers

About

As parents to four grown children, and a grand baby, we created a tour designed to focus on the kids and making it their best day on the Lake. On all charters, children under the age of 13 are required by the Coast Guard to wear and lifejacket. We have all sizes to select for children and adults for your peace of mind and convenience.

Upon arrival at the boat, children are greeted by the Captain and named honorary First Mates. Each child is given a printed Captain's Guide. The guide has facts and figures about the lake, and a checklist of the places they see.

The first order of business is learning about boat safety. The Captain will also share simple boat operations, how to tie up a boat and coiling the lines.

This tour is all about learning about the lake, nature, ecology, and legends. Some key stops and learnings:
Kokanee Salmon Learn about the Kokanee salmon and see the Taylor Creek area where they migrate annually.
Forest & Trees Do you know how many types of pine trees are in Lake Tahoe? After this tour, you’ll know the many differences.
Our Animal Friends The Beavers, Bald Eagles, Coyotes, and Bobcats.
Bears All about Lake Tahoe Bears. You’ll come away educated with a new appreciate for our bears.
Lake Facts Learn how the lake was formed and what makes it so clear.
• Sites along the route: Emerald Bay, DL Bliss, Rubicon Bay.
• Swimming! Yes, we’ll have time to swim in beautiful Lake Tahoe with pool toys & noodles.

Bring a picnic lunch, or we'll stop at one of the lakeside restaurants.
