The Estate Tour is our most comprehensive tour and offers an unforgettable 4-hour guided exploration of Taliesin, Frank Lloyd Wright’s 800-acre home and estate. Led by a knowledgeable and engaging guide, this tour invites you to ask questions and immerse yourself in Wright’s world as you explore Taliesin, Hillside, and more. If you’re looking to see it all, this is the tour for you!
What's included
This experience includes all the spaces from the Highlights Tour and Two-Hour House Tour, plus additional stops like Tan-y-Deri and Midway Barn. You’ll visit iconic spaces such as the newly renovated Hillside Theater, enjoy a detailed tour of the interior and exterior of Taliesin – Frank Lloyd Wright’s home, and savor light refreshments on his personal terrace (weather permitting).
With a 1.5-mile walk across the Driftless Landscape, this tour is ideal for people comfortable with walking and standing for long periods of time and is the ultimate way to fully experience Taliesin!

Please arrive at the Frank Lloyd Wright Visitor Center at least 20 minutes prior to your tour to pick up your tickets and board the shuttle to Taliesin. The shuttle leaves promptly at the posted tour start time. Tours begin to gather approximately 10 minutes prior to the tour start time. If you are late for your tour, we will do our best to accommodate you, but cannot guarantee you will be able to take a tour the same day.
What to bring
Comfortable walking shoes are a must for this tour, since it includes a 1½ mile hike, including some considerable hills, from one end of the estate to the other, with few places to sit down. There is a restroom break during this 4-hour tour.
Cancellations
Tickets are non-refundable. With 24 hours' notice, we can reschedule a tour or provide a tour credit for the value of the tour, excluding booking fees. The tour credit will be valid through the end of the 2026 tour season. In the unfortunate event that Taliesin Preservation cancels the event, guests will be notified in advance and offered a tour credit or a full refund to the original payment method. Taliesin is part of a UNESCO World Heritage site, and all ticket sales support our mission to preserve its cultural, built, and natural environments.
