These highly popular 4-hour programs allow for unfettered photography of nearly 15 species of birds of prey from around the world both in static perching shots and also in untethered free flight.
Photographers will have the unique opportunity to:
- Take close-up photos of live birds of prey in natural settings;
- Take a self-guided tour of the Center;
- Photograph flight demonstrations featuring several species of birds-of-prey in free flight.
We limit the number of participating photographers so that everyone is provided equal access to the birds, which allows for a variety of perspectives and angles.
Tickets are $100 per person.
Dates include:
Sunday, January 26th - 8:30 am -12:30 pm
Sunday, April 13th - 8:30 am -12:30 pm
Sunday, September 21st - 8:30 am -12:30 pm
Please note that this program is weather dependent. If we are required to cancel the program because of the weather, we will offer you either a reschedule date or a refund.
Your visit provides operational support for the Center's educational, medical, conservation, and research initiatives. We hope that your experience will inspire an appreciation for birds of prey and a genuine concern for the diminishing habitat upon which they—and we—depend.
All proceeds from your admission go to support the Avian Conservation Center, a nonprofit 501 (c)3 organization.
Food is not available on-site.
