Learn the basics of mosaics to create a picture frame your design!

One, 3-Hour Class. Approximately 2 hours each.

About the Class

Join us as we explore the ancient art of Mosaics. In this class, students will work to embellish a picture frame with precut glass and other materials such as tiles, penny rounds, and beads.

Wendy will challenge students to create a frame that they are proud of! They will learn how to use glass nippers to shape pre-cut pieces of glass. Using this technique, they will work to design a picture frame that they can keep or give as a gift. Who doesn’t have a photograph that could use a unique frame?

The glue will need to dry overnight before grouting. Students will return the following day for a detailed instruction of the grouting technique to complete their piece.

• This activity has a minimum number of guests required for it to run. While unlikely, it is possible that it will not reach the minimum. In that case, you will be notified that it has been canceled and provided the option to reschedule for the next available class.
