Regular Group Rates: $25 per person (May through September); $27 per person (October peak season). Discounts do not apply to the group rates.

College & University Rates: $16 per person. Discounts do not apply to the group rates.

• An exclusive guided tour of the historic interiors, artists' home, and studios. Dive into the history of Thomas Cole and the historic household and engage with original paintings by Thomas, Sarah, and Emily Cole.
• A walking tour of our grounds and gardens. Experience the historic landscape, see the plantings that once inspired the botanical artworks of Emily Cole, and learn about our Greening Initiative.
• Special exhibition(s) overview
• Access to the Cole Center & Gift Shop for shopping and snacks, with a 10% off voucher for our drink + granola bar bundle item (one voucher per person)

1. Arrive with your group 20–30 minutes before your tour begins to allow time for parking and check-in at the Cole Center
2. Meet your Museum Guide(s) on the Forecourt in front of the Cole Center
3. Your guided group tour will last up to 75 minutes. For groups of over 15 people, we will split you into smaller groups to tour through the site
4. Shop for souvenirs in the Cole Center gift shop after your tour

Your tour guide(s) will meet you on the Forecourt at the Cole Center shortly after your arrival time. If you are running late on the date of your visit, please call us at 518-943-7465 ext. 109. We will do our best to accommodate late arrivals, but cannot guarantee availability.

Bus drop off is located beside the 1846 New Studio building on Hudson Avenue, situated on the south side of our campus. We require buses to park on Hudson Avenue and do not park in our visitor lot that is shared with Temple Israel, as it is inaccessible for buses of that size. Motor coach and bus drivers should use the following directions below:

• Turn off of Spring Street onto High Street
• Turn left at Woodland Avenue
• Make a final left onto Hudson Avenue
• Look for the THOMAS COLE SITE GROUP DROP-OFF sign and let passengers out beside the 1846 New Studio building

Cars and passenger vans may park in our visitor parking lot, accessible from Spring Street.

Please wear comfortable shoes, suitable for walking on gravel paths and up/down stairs.

If rain is in the forecast, please bring/wear appropriate clothing, as some portions of the tour are outside, rain or shine. A limited number of umbrellas are available for public use at the entrance to all of our buildings.

All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

The first floor of the Main House is wheelchair accessible by an elevator lift to bypass the 11 steps leading up to the first-floor porch. The second floor of the Main House is only accessed by two flights of stairs. The Cole Center, Storehouse, and 1846 New Studio are all wheelchair accessible. The parking lot is asphalt and includes a number of accessible spaces. The walking paths are loose gravel.

A wheelchair is available upon request in the Cole Center for on-site use on a first-come, first-served basis.

In the event of weather, umbrellas are available for public use at the entrance to each building on a first-come, first-served basis.

Tours occur rain or shine; in the event of an extreme weather event that necessitates our museum to close, we will reach out to you to reschedule or refund your visit.
