Beer and Puppies
Our Alaskan sled dogs and husky puppies love socialization! Come on out and help shape the next generation of Alaskan sled dogs by visiting us at Trail Breaker Kennel for Beer and Puppies. After a adventure-packed Fairbanks day we invited you to enjoy some local beverages (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options available) and puppy cuddles overlooking the picturesque pond at Trail Breaker Kennel. Historic Trail Breaker Kennel was founded by 4-time Iditarod champion Susan Butcher and Yukon Quest champion David Monson. Trail Breaker is still an active racing kennel and home to 37 authentic Alaskan sled dogs. On the beautiful banks of the Chena river, Trail Breaker Kennel is the perfect destination for dog lovers, brew lovers and everyone in between.
If you are interested in learning a little bit more about sled dogs and getting a hands-on glimpse of the dog musher lifestyle, the Trail Breaker beer and puppies is the spot for you. On top of that, we serve cool local Alaskan beverages for your enjoyment!
The Beer Garden is open 5:30-7pm. We invite you to come and go as you please during 1.5 hours. At 6pm we will offer an optional 30 minute Kennel Tour and sled dog history presentation including Q & A session with one of our knowledgeable and authentic mushers.
We know it is hard to say goodbye to the puppies, but at 7pm we are closing for the evening and our little ones are off to nap after enjoying the social event with our guests.
