With its vast network of freshwater lakes, shorelines covered in maples, pines and everything in between, wildlife at every turn - it’s no wonder why the backcountry of Algonquin Park has captured the imagination of all who’ve paddled its waterways. Now, imagine exploring this breathtaking wilderness while its shorelines are ablaze with colour - vibrate reds, oranges, yellows - all signalling the season’s transitions.
Our focus is first and foremost to soak in the beauty of autumn from a point of view few get to experience - the Algonquin interior. We’ll paddle along a historic route and spend a couple nights in the backcountry, all while learning skills you’ll need to confidently navigate your way through the wilderness.
