Private Group Tour request (21+ persons)
- A minimum of 2 private group tour blocks is required for a group reservation.
- A maximum of 20 persons per private group tour block is allowed, for security reasons.
(21 to 40 people = 2 blocks; 61 to 80 people = 4 blocks)
UN Standard Tour
Visit the General Assembly Hall, the Security Council Chamber, the Trusteeship Council Chamber, and the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) Chamber. Learn about how the United Nations addresses issues such as disarmament, peace and security, human rights, and how you can support the Sustainable Development Goals.

Tours last approximately 45-60 minutes.
Due to high-level meetings of Heads of State and Government and delegations, United Nations Headquarters and Chambers may sometimes close to the public on very short notice.
The United Nations Headquarters is accessible to persons with disabilities.
Languages
Tours in languages other than English may be available upon request. Please state your desired language in the booking request form.
Should we not be able to provide the tour in your requested language, the tour will be conducted in English.

Rates for 2025
1 Private Group Tour Block = up to 20 People
- Adult Block: $520.00
- Student Block (Ages 13+ with student ID): $376.00
- Senior Block (Ages 60+): $360.00
- Child Block (Ages 5-12): $344.00
A 3% booking fee will apply.
For security reasons, children under 5 years of age are not permitted on tour.
Children 5 to 7 years old will be given a Children’s Tour in the Kids Corridor.
For children 8 to 10 years old, please specify in the booking form if you prefer a Children’s Tour on the Standard Tour route or in the Kids Corridor.
Payment methods
We accept credit card, Google Pay & Apple Pay payments ONLY
Checks and Purchase orders are not accepted.
A 3% booking fee will apply.
All sales are final - no exchanges or refunds are offered.
Hours of operation
- Weekdays: First tour leaving at 9:30, last tour leaving at 4:45. Please plan to arrive 60 minutes before your tour.
- The UN Headquarters is closed and tours are suspended on weekends and holidays listed below.
- The shops in the Visitors Services court close around 5:30pm. If you are taking the 4:45 pm tour, we suggest that you plan to visit the shops before your tour.

Security Registration
All visitors must register on the United Nations Security Site before visiting.
Please CLICK HERE to register.
Check-In
All visitors to United Nations Headquarters require a UN security pass to enter the United Nations building. This security pass must be obtained at the Visitor Check-in Office.
Start your visit at the Visitor Check-in Office (801 1st Avenue, at 45th Street, across the street from the UN Visitors Entrance). After receiving your security pass/wrist band, proceed across the street to the United Nations Visitors Entrance (46th Street and 1st Avenue) for security screening and access to UN Headquarters.
For security screening, please arrive 60 minutes before the start of your tour.

If you do not hear back from us within 2 business days, your organization may be blocking the UN mail domain (@un.org). In that case, please resend the form using a private email account.
