The Shoals Music Tour takes you back to the golden era of Muscle Shoals with the stories of renowned musicians and the artists who made the magic for decades after! You'll hear stories and sights unique to this tour which include the Original FAME Recording Studio site as well as the current site of FAME Recording Studios, Sam Phillips childhood home, Muscle Shoals Sound Studios (both sites!), and many more! See where hits like “When A Man Loves a Woman” (Percy Sledge), “Patches” (Clarence Carter), “Old Time Rock ‘N’ Roll” (Bob Seger), and “Family Tradition” (Hank Williams, Jr.) were recorded! Studios used by such artists as Mac Davis, The Staple Singers, Jimmy Buffett, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Aretha Franklin, Rolling Stones, Rod Stewart, Dr. Hook, Bob Dylan, and James Brown to name just a few!

The tour also includes stops at the gift shops of both Muscle Shoals Sound Studios and FAME Recording Studios.

Patrons of The Shoals Music Tour will receive discounted admission into Muscle Shoals Sound Studio and FAME Recording Studios for $15.00 per attraction when they present their bus ticket at the studio(s) after The Shoals Music Tour.

Note: Students - you will need to present a student card at the time of checking in. Seniors - you will need to present a driver's license, AARP card or other form of ID with birthdate at the time of checking in.

Important Information

• Unfortunately, the bus is NOT handicap accessible. Seats closest to the side-sliding door will be made available for patrons who have limited mobility.
• No animals are permitted on the bus
