Activity details
This snowmobile safari will take you across the frozen Lake Inari, also known as the Sámi sea, to some of the historical sites of the surroundings area. You will visit what was once the old Sámi winter village centre in Pielpajärvi, where now only the wooden wilderness church, build in 1760 remains. You will also pay your respects to the rugged ancient Sámi sacrificial island, ""Ukko's rock"". A picnic soup lunch will be offered by the open campfire.

Special requirements
Please note a valid driving license in Latin letters is required in order to drive snowmobile. You can book the sleigh ride if you do not have the driving license. Children will travel in sleigh for safety reasons.
When group is odd numbers, one single driving needs to be booked, we do not combine different parties for snowmobile.

- 7-0 days 100 % cancellation fee from total value of reservation
Packages Low Season: 1 – 15 Dec 2024, 6 Jan – 31 Mar 2025, and 1 – 22 Sep 2025 - 31 days or earlier 50 € office cost
- 30-0 days 100 % cancellation fee from total value of reservation
Packages High Season: 16 Dec 2024 – 5 Jan 2025 and Event Weekends - 15 days or earlier 50 € office cost
- 14 days 100 % cancellation fee from total value of reservation
Packages: All Other Times - 15 days or earlier 50 € office cost
- 14 days 100 % cancellation fee from total value of reservation
