About
This popular evening wine train has returned!Join us on a relaxing ride down the Carson River Canyon while enjoying specially prepared appetizers, a variety of refreshing white wines, and beautiful river canyon views. Experience a 45-minute trip south of Carson City’s Eastgate Depot. Glimpse a part of the route not seen every day. The track winds past scenic views of the river and the canyon walls. Bring your cameras, as there will be opportunities to photograph the “Iron Horse” as it steams past the passenger cars to reattach to the train and "High Ball "it back up the canyon. Listen as the engineer blows the whistle and the echoes bounce off the canyon walls. Steam Round Trip: From Eastgate Depot through the canyon and back.
