NATURE GETS WILD AT THE HOUSTON MUSEUM OF NATURAL SCIENCE
Take your group on an unusual adventure that uncovers the museum’s secrets, surprises, and treasures. Your team will follow a trail of clues through the galleries as you collaborate to answer fun and funny questions about what you find. You’ll see the best of such exhibits as the Hall of Paleontology—so vivid you might swear you feel the hot breath of a looming dinosaur—and the new Hall of the Americas.
But even if you don’t know a dino bone from a donut, you’ll enjoy this hunt. The emphasis is on teamwork and laughter. No previous knowledge about science or the museum is necessary to win: you just need a sharp mind, comfy shoes, and a sense of adventure.
How the Hunts Work
- On most of our hunts, you and your teammates are not collecting objects (drop that pigeon!)—you’re searching for answers to tricky, humorous questions about the amusing things and cool places you discover. The best teams quickly learn that they must use the strengths of everyone in the group.
- The hunts are conducted by our remote Hunt Hosts and assistants via Zoom. We do not offer do-it-yourself games.
- The hunts are not races, and running disqualifies you. The hunts are a test of your wits and your teamwork, not a test of physical fitness. We don’t want anyone to feel embarrassed or excluded—and we don’t want to distress your lawyer (or ours, for that matter). The people who live at the gym won’t necessarily win.
