Bareboat Multihull Chartering (ASA 104/114)

This is a three-day overnight class onboard a 38-50 foot cruising catamaran and provides students with the ASA 104/114 certifications needed to qualify them to bareboat charter on catamarans of similar size in destinations around the world.

IMPORTANT: Most charter companies will also ask for a sailing resume in addition to your ASA 114 certification. Make sure to call the charter company you wish to charter with and ask them for the specific requirements needed to charter with that company.

Classes start at 9AM on the first scheduled day and end at 5pm on the last day. This is an advanced cruising Standard for individuals with cruising experience. You will be able to skipper 38-50 foot boats sailing by day, in coastal waters. The 104 Standard includes knowledge of boat systems and maintenance procedures. ASA 114 is also an advanced cruising standard for individuals with cruising experience but geared specifically toward catamaran sailing. You will act as skipper of a 38-50 foot multihull sailboat by day, in coastal waters.
