About
Been wanting to try Stand Up Paddleboarding but don't know where to start? Join us for this introduction to SUP basics specifically designed to empower those who have little or no experience. Start on the safe and protected water of Goss Lake while you learn how to stand up, balance, and maneuver a paddle board. Falling off is part of paddle boarding, but we will teach you how to fall safely and how to get back, but be prepared to get wet!
What to expect:
This lesson will take 1.5 hours from start to finish. You'll start in the park with your instructor for 20 mins followed by a step-by-step demonstration on the water. Once people are a bit more comfortable and confident, you'll learn simple ways to turn efficiently and how to paddle forward with less effort. Expect to get wet and have fun.
