**We pick you up in style at your hotel in executive transportation. This is a private tour for you and your party only. We board executive transport nearby and we take you to the Liberties neighbourhood of Dublin, which once housed 32 working distilleries, all of which disappeared in the 20th century. But now, distilling is returning to the Liberties with a bang! And this afternoon, we take you to three new Dublin distilleries.

THE LIBERTIES AND THE GOLDEN TRIANGLE

Our first visit is to Teeling Whiskey Distillery – the first new distillery to open in Dublin in over 125 years. The Teeling brothers have already heaps of awards for their whiskeys and are captains of innovation in their approach to making whiskey. Your Host will take you on a visit to the distillery floor , a proper quintessential Irish distillery. We arrive in the bar for a private tasting of Teeling Small Batch, Single Grain and Teeling Single Pot Still. Teeling Disitllery is an absolute must on any Dublin distillery trail.

Just around the block, we have our second distillery visit. The Dublin Liberties Distillery is very close to Teelings, but very different! The distillery is set in a 400 year old building, an old tannery. The distillery opened in 2019 and they are making a variety of blended and single malt whiskeys. We'll take a quick walk through the distillery and we'll get comfy in their wonderful tastings bar for a sampling of the ultra smooth Dubliner Original, Oak Devil and their Honeycomb Liqueur is the ultimate crowd-pleaser!

PEARSE LYONS DISTILLERY

Next we’re off to Pearse Lyons Distillery, set in St. James’ Church which dates back to the 12th century. The tour includes a saunter around the graveyard on the grounds of the church and the you’ll hear the fascinating stories of those buried there. Discover the distillery in all it’s glory, set in the restored church. We’ll have a private tasting of two Pearse Lyons whiskeys and their delicious rhubarb gin.

We finish our whiskey trail back in the city centre, by dropping you at your hotel or wherever you request. We’re glad to give you some restaurant/pub recommendations or indeed some tips for the rest of your trip! See package and pricing details below….
