No two Grand Traverse Bay afternoons are alike! Sit back, relax, and sail with the Captain and Crew across the brilliant blue waters of West Bay.

Every afternoon offers up unique skies and breezes that tantalize the senses. Experience the magic of hearing only wind and water as the Crew proudly keeps the engine turned off and the sails full. As a Wind Dancer guest, you’ll not only be treated to a skilled sailing experience, you’ll also be served food and drink curated from the region. We love to answer questions and share our intimate knowledge of the area’s history and points of interest.
Your ticket includes a generous picnic featuring local fare, beer, wine, cocktails, and champagne. Join in to learn the nuances of schooner sailing, if that interests you, or simply sit back and enjoy feeling the boat drive forward through the breeze.

Parking is free. Please check in at our boat house located on the North side of the Delmar Hotel parking lot and feel free to enjoy a drink at the Artisan Restaurant Bar before departure.

Please wear comfortable clothes appropriate to the occasion you are celebrating. Flat shoes are preferred. A hat (or buy a Wind Dancer hat!), sunscreen, and sunglasses are a great idea as there is often no shade on the upper deck of the boat, although the position of the sails do offer some occasional shade. Wind jackets and rain gear may be necessary depending on the weather conditions, however the salon offers a delightful break from the elements if you need, offering fantastic views through the portholes and comfortable seating.
