Western Museum of Mining and Industry Members include individuals from more than 20 states loyal to our mission and educational programs. Their generous memberships help support the preservation of our vast collection of artifacts and machinery, keep the extensive grounds well-maintained and accessible for visitors, and ensure that the historical interpretation and educational activities are authentic and accessible.

Since its founding in 1970, the Western Museum of Mining and Industry has made mining history come alive for scores of visitors. Maintaining the tradition of carefully preserved machinery and hands-on educational programs requires the support of many individuals. Museum membership offers you the exclusive opportunity to be part of this tradition.

Membership Levels

Individual Membership ($45)

• Free admission for one individual
• 10% discount on purchases at museum shop
• Exclusive invitations to previews of exciting new exhibits and member-only events
• Member Newsletter and annual report
• Use of the museum library

Family Membership ($80)

• Individual member benefits plus
• Family memberships have no limit to size, but they must be immediate family
• Birthday party privileges

Grandparent Membership ($80)

• Free museum admission for immediate family members for one (1) year
• 4 – ½ off museum guest passes
• 10% discount at the Rock n Gift Shop
• Exclusive invitations to new exhibit previews and member-only events
• Membership newsletters and annual report
• Discount on WMMI signature events
• Use of museum library with borrowing privileges
• Free admission to the WMMI lecture series (monthly from Feb-Nov)
• 10% discount on rental spaces

Family Plus ($125)

• Free museum admission for immediate family members for one (1) year
• 4 – ½ off museum guest passes
• 10% discount at the Rock n Gift Shop
• Exclusive invitations to new exhibit previews and member-only events
• Membership newsletters and annual report
• Discount on WMMI signature events
• Use of museum library with borrowing privileges
• Free admission to the WMMI lecture series (monthly from Feb-Nov)

• Private, Pre-Scheduled Tours (2/year/family)
