Join Us In Person for a Diplomatic Series Event

The Wilson House is pleased to partner with the Embassy of Bulgaria to welcome one of their most accomplished musicians to the museum on United Nations Day, October 24. This day marks the anniversary of the entry into force in 1945 of the UN Charter. The UN traces its roots back to Woodrow Wilson's global ideals in the League of Nations.

Born in Sofia, Bulgaria, Professor Suzanna Klintcharova has established herself as a musical force in Paris and New York. During her brilliant studies at the Bulgaria National High Conservatory, the Brussels Royal Conservatory, and in Paris, where she specialized in French music with Pierre Jamet, she became a laureate of national and international harp contests.

During her successful decades long career, Prof. Klintcharova has also be involved in sound recording and contemporary music creation. Since 1990, she has been a harp professor in Paris, holding regular master classes in New York and Sofia. She has been soloist of the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra, the National Orchestra of Belgium, the Sofia Philharmonic, and the San Francisco Chamber Symphony. Klintcharova has performed on prestigious concert stages in many counties including USA, Japan, France, and Belgium. She has even used her recitals at Carnegie Hall to introduce new releases of her discography.

Parallel to her concert career, she is a member of most prestigious harp contest's jury. Suzanna Klintcharova is the president of the ArtFusion cultural association in Paris. She has made excellent contributions to the research and transcription of harp music.

Please join us for a night of beautiful harp music in a historic setting. Afterwards, meet the harpist and other members of the Embassy of Bulgaria.
