About
We’re on the hunt! Join us on our half day wildlife tour in the beautiful and historic Lamar Valley. Yellowstone’s Lamar Valley, often called “The American Serengeti”, is hands down the best place to view wildlife in the whole park and plays a significant role in the history of wildlife management and preservation. This tour starts at 6am to take advantage of the easy viewing of animals who prefer cooler temperatures such as predators like bears or wolves, and lets you watch the sunrise over the very scenic Madison Valley as we enter the park through the West Entrance.
This 7-hour tour of the world-famous Lamar Valley starts by entering the park through Yellowstone’s west entrance and heading east through the very scenic Madison Valley. Animals you may see on this tour include bears, wolves, bison, elk, pronghorn, bighorn sheep, mountain goats, and more.
On this tour you will have:
- Access to binoculars, spotting scopes, and wildlife identification charts/ Field Books
- Transportation to and from your hotel, RV park, or Campsite
- Entrance Fee Included
- An NAI Certified Interpretive Guide
