Walk with us through Savannah's beautiful squares and green spaces as you learn to identify many of our iconic plants and appreciate many of our ironwork gates and fences that frame our gardens.

Learn about traditional uses of our plant life, their unique qualities, the natural or symbolic imagery in our wrought and cast iron, and see Savannah's natural beauty up close.

What should I bring?

• Comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate attire.
• Water or other beverages are encouraged, especially in the summer.
• If we are anticipating rain, we recommend bringing an umbrella or raincoat.

Additional Info

• Tours are two hours long.
• On this route there are some opportunities to sit and listen, but the first third is mostly walking and standing.
• Public restrooms are only available near the end of the route, so we recommend taking care of your needs before the start of tour.
• All our tour guides are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 and the tour takes place completely outdoors.
