Policies

TIME & DISTANCE Ghost Walk begins on time. Please meet fifteen minutes prior to the start to check in with your guide. Most ghost walks last between 90 minutes and 2 hours and run a distance of one to one and a half miles. Our tours are all wheelchair accessible, however graveyards are not open to wheelchairs.

WEATHER We do not cancel for rain. We walk in all kinds of weather except weather that is a hazard to public safety (floods, hurricanes, cloud-to-ground lightning). Dress for the weather and note that in the case of a heavy downpour during the tour, the guide will seek shelter and commence with storytelling until the weather clears.   • Bring your umbrella if it looks like rain

NO RESTROOMS Please use the restroom before the start of your tour. There are no restrooms available on our walking tours, nor can the guide pause the tour for this purpose.

TIPS / GRATUITIES: Cost of a ticket does not include gratuity. Please give your guide a tip if you think she or he has done well and offered an informative and entertaining experience. Most of our guides/storytellers take VENMO.

DOGS Well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome on all of our tours. The exception is the Ocean City Ghost Walk between Memorial Day and Labor Day when no dogs are allowed on the Boardwalk.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS: Full refund will be given if a cancellation is made 48 hours prior to the tour’s start. If cancellation is NOT made within 48 hours of the tour, no refunds will be given. However, all registrations are transferable, so feel free to allow a friend or family member to attend in your place. Just give them your order voucher. Please do not ask for special exceptions. It's not fair to all ticket buyers if special exceptions are made for some and not all.
