Tell us about yourself and where you are from.

I am French, from the beautiful region of Brittany, where I was living when FareHarbor called to offer me [the job.] I’ve lived in Amsterdam for about 4 years and am passionate about travel, and more specifically, the gastronomic and architectural parts of it.

How has FareHarbor helped you grow in your role?

FareHarbor has provided me with several growth opportunities. I started in Sales, went to Sales Management, then moved to Strategic Partnerships. That’s a lot of changes!

What is your favorite part of your position?

I love how my new position allows me to be creative. In addition to client outreach and trying to close deals, I am starting to touch on graphic design and public speaking!

Which FareHarbor core value do you connect with the most and why?

Embrace the Challenge. I enjoy taking risks and feel lucky that my company enables me to do that.

I was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. I’m into health, fitness, and nutrition. I enjoy reading about new technology releases. I’m a member of multiple LGBT Facebook community/activity groups and you’ll sometimes find me at a Drag show on the weekends.

Why do you like working at FareHarbor?

Overall there is a friendly, helpful, and positive vibe from employees. I feel that leadership truly cares about the employees’ happiness, well-being, and success.

My team is always collaborating with other departments and helping with projects and questions. I switched teams during my time at FareHarbor and when I went to seek other opportunities within the company, I already had a good idea of what I was interested in, based on those collaborations and relationships.

How would you describe the culture at FareHarbor?

FareHarbor understands and promotes diversity and inclusion among its employees. As part of the LGBT community, I’ve always felt welcome here.

What team outings have you participated in recently outside of work?

Recently, we attended a team event at a custom apparel company. We pressed a FareHarbor logo onto some t-shirts and tote bags that we got to take home. It was so much fun!

Cecilia Araújo Behm | Account Executive, Amsterdam

I am originally from Natal, a beautiful beach city in the Northeast of Brazil, but I have been living in the Netherlands for the past 5 years. I am passionate about travelling, visiting different countries, and learning about different cultures.

Why do you like working at FareHarbor?

Working at FareHarbor is a great adventure where you can have fun, grow professionally, and be part of a great team that is supportive, caring and cheering for your success.

The hospitality industry is really fun and in Sales you have the opportunity to speak with people from different countries and backgrounds. You also get to work with other sales executives to improve your skills and knowledge about the different ways you can support our partners with FareHarbor’s solutions.

How would you describe FareHarbor’s culture?

FareHarbor’s culture is inspiring, contagious and caring. It is so fulfilling to know that employees are taken care of and have a voice to suggest changes.
