Explore the biggest enhancements released so far in 2026 and what’s coming next.
Tour and activity operators are balancing a lot right now — creating standout guest experiences, managing busy operations, and finding new ways to drive bookings.
Throughout 2026, FareHarbor has continued rolling out updates designed to support those day-to-day challenges with more flexibility, smoother workflows, and better booking experiences.
Here’s a look at some of the biggest product updates released so far this year, plus a preview of what’s coming next.
Drive more revenue from every booking
Build more flexible offers with Combos and Packages
Operators now have more ways to customize promotions, create bundled experiences, and increase average booking value in a single checkout flow.
With new updates to Combos and Packages, you can create more tailored offers based on customer behavior, timing, and pricing strategies.
New enhancements include:
- Two-for-one deals: Create “buy one, get one” style promotions for your Combos deals. Such as buy one tour, get another 20% off.
- Three-plus item Packages: Build more robust bundled experiences with Packages that include three or more items.

Turn guests into repeat customers with new Membership features
Operators can now create more flexible Memberships directly within FareHarbor.
New Loyalty Cards, also known as punch cards, reward repeat visits based on Customer Types and can be offered as free or paid programs. For example, you can create a program where the sixth visit is free or discounted after five visits.
Membership programs are also becoming more customizable. Operators can now tailor Membership language throughout the experience, including changing terms like “Member ID” to custom terminology, like “Loyalty Number”, that better matches their brand.
Grow sales with more customizable discount options
- Discount schedules: Schedule when promotions are active for seasonal campaigns, special events, or limited-time offers.
- Discount codes by Customer Type: Customize discounts for specific Customer Types, such as offering different amounts for adults and children.
Make gift cards and payments more flexible
Operators can now set expiration dates for gift cards directly within FareHarbor.
This gives businesses more flexibility when managing promotions and liabilities, while still allowing operators to align with regional regulations where applicable.
Reduce operational friction behind the scenes
Save time with bulk operational tools
Managing operational changes manually can become time-consuming, especially during weather disruptions, staffing changes, or busy seasons.
New Bulk Booking Actions help operators make large updates faster. They can now:
- Rebook entire availabilities
- Cancel multiple bookings at once
- Manage operational changes in fewer steps

FareHarbor also introduced improvements to resource override management, allowing operators to quickly increase or decrease resources across multiple availabilities when needed.
These updates are designed to reduce repetitive administrative work and help teams respond more efficiently to operational changes.
Simplify guest management with Customer Directory
New Customer Directory updates make it easier to recognize repeat guests and speed up booking workflows directly within the Dashboard.
Returning customers are now automatically tagged based on identifiers like email address or phone number, helping staff quickly identify repeat visitors while managing reservations. These tags also appear directly within the booking overview for added visibility during day-to-day operations. You can also add your own tags like VIP or Family
Dashboard users will also see suggested customer information — including names, emails, and phone numbers — while creating bookings and in the booking overview, helping reduce manual entry and speed up the reservation process.

Streamline waiver collection and check-in
We’ve released several new updates to simplify waiver collection and improve the check-in experience for both guests and staff.
Operators can now:
- Configure legal age requirements for minor versus adult signing
- Collect additional guest details through new default fields for height, weight, and shoe size
- Add multiple acknowledgements within a single waiver flow
Guests can now acknowledge each section of the waiver — by checkbox or initials, whichever you set for that waiver — before they submit, so you collect clearer confirmations without needing multiple waivers.
Create cleaner, more modern booking experiences
Improve how your booking flow looks and feels
Several updates released this year are focused on creating cleaner booking experiences and helping customers find information faster during checkout.
New enhancements to the Lightframe and content management include:
- Structured fields: More organized content fields within the booking flow/content builder
- Smart formatting improvements: Easier migration from legacy descriptions into structured Content Builder fields
- Dedicated language and audio guide fields: Specific fields for language and audio guide information instead of manually adding them into descriptions
Give guests more confidence with Seat Maps
Seat Maps continue evolving to create clearer booking experiences for guests and simpler seating management for staff.
Guests can now view layouts and select seats in advance, bringing more transparency and confidence to the booking process. New visual enhancements, including Seat Map Photos, help make the experience even more intuitive before checkout.
Run Dock with more flexibility on the go
Dock is now available on both iPhone and Android, giving operators more flexibility to manage bookings anywhere.
Additional updates include:
- Different booking cut-off windows for online, kiosk, and affiliate bookings
- The ability for staff to mark bookings as unpaid or partially paid in Staff Mode
These changes help operators create more flexible workflows for both self-service and staff-assisted booking environments.
Support global growth and flexibility
Expanded payment and billing flexibility
FareHarbor continues expanding tools designed to support international operators and localized payment experiences.
New updates include:
- Localized payments: Operators in Mexico (and soon Europe) can allow customers to pay in localized currencies, including USD in supported scenarios.
- Flexible payout frequency: Adjust payout timing to daily, weekly, or monthly to better manage operational and banking needs.
- E-invoicing with Kapta: Effortless compliance with Spain and Portugal’s e-invoicing regulations

A preview of what’s coming next
FareHarbor continues investing in tools designed to help operators streamline operations, improve guest experiences, and adapt to changing traveler expectations.
A few upcoming features currently in development include:
- Standalone Waivers: Collect waiver signatures independently from bookings, including through general QR code sign-ins
- Dock enhancements: Flip to tip in staff mode, printing on self check-in on Kiosk mode, and seat assignment
- Localized payments expansion: Expanded localized payment options, including Klarna and Bizum, designed to create more flexible checkout experiences for international travelers
