Our people are what sets FareHarbor apart from the competition. Our teams across the world work together, as one ohana, to not only bring our best product to our clients — but to also ensure we have a welcoming, communicative culture. Take a look below to hear what our employees think about their time at FareHarbor!

Israel Perdomo

Senior Client Onboard Specialist, Amsterdam

Tell us about yourself and where you are from.

I’m from Puerto La Cruz, Venezuela and I’ve been living in Amsterdam for the past 3 years. I’m a very nice and chill guy, what you can call your typical beach boy. I’m very outdoorsy and I love the sea! I also love traveling, getting to know people from everywhere and puppies!

Why do you like working at FareHarbor?

FareHarbor is a great and fun place to work. It’s a very welcoming company and everybody will instantly make you feel like part of the ohana! It offers many careers and growing opportunities. As an immigrant trying to start a new life from 0, Fareharbor will always have all my gratitude for believing in me, and I’m extremely proud to be part of the Ohana.

What is the most challenging part of your position? What is the most rewarding?

Every day is different and every client is different, so it is always very challenging to maintain online communication with the clients and your co-workers. For me, it is very rewarding to see our clients grow. I always try my best to set them up for success, so every time that they get an online booking, it is very rewarding to see that your effort is paying off.

Staci McMullan

Technical Support Specialist, Denver

Tell us about yourself and where you are from.

Originally from southern New Jersey, I moved out to Denver about 9 years ago. I love enjoying all of the outdoors Colorado has to offer, and spend most of my time mountain biking, camping, and exploring in the summer!

What has been your favorite experience or memory from your time at FareHarbor?

My favorite experience or memory from my time at FareHarbor is the positive feedback our team or myself personally have received from clients we’ve helped. Knowing that I’ve made a difference in someone’s day is important to me and makes me happy!

How does your team stay connected while working from home and how do you like working from home?

What I love about working at home is that our communication is so great across our teams, that this set up doesn’t seem to at all impede efficient workflow. I love that my team stays connected by having happy hours on Fridays to take a few minutes to decompress from the week!

Tyler Bevington

Team Lead of Account Management, Denver

Tell us about yourself and where you are from.

I grew up in Littleton, CO and have lived in the state for most of my life. That’s not to say I haven’t traveled though – I’ve visited 17 countries to date. Before coming to FareHarbor, I taught high school Spanish for about 8 years. In the summers, I used to lead students on service-learning trips to places like Costa Rica, Peru, and Spain. I’m fluent in Spanish and speak pretty solid Portuguese too.

How would you describe the culture at FareHarbor?

I would describe it as accepting, inclusive, and familial. I’ve always felt welcome at the company and that nearly everyone is approachable and willing to help out if you just ask. It’s inspiring to work with so many talented, driven, and smart people.

What would you say to someone who is seeking new opportunities and considering FareHarbor for their next career move?

To someone considering applying to work at FareHarbor, I’d tell them that there’s something for almost anyone with any skill set at our company – it’s just a matter of finding the right fit! We’re also growing rapidly so jump aboard this rocketship while you can!
